Watch this video to see a sampling of how our teachers will engage your child during a Music/ Movement/ and Story-telling Lesson with Ms Carolyn. The children watch a felt board story about the Life Cycle of the Sunflower. Then they do a movement activity of moving up and down while listening to the musical scale being played on the Glockenspiel. Then, they learn about these two instruments in the Percussion family of the orchestra: Glockenspiel and Xylophone.
